Inaugural Issue

Glean, as in “gleaning the good things from time.”

Each week I glean a few things worth keeping — on AI, tech, building, and life — filter them, and post them here. If you like it, subscribe via RSS.

Why Glean Weekly

For the first issue, let me start with why.

A blog post is slow work; it often takes a while to take shape. But every week I run into small good things — a handy tool, an idea that finally clicks, a photo I can’t bring myself to delete. They aren’t enough for a full post, yet tossing them feels wasteful. Glean Weekly is where those fragments land.

No chasing hype, no filler. If a week turns up nothing worth keeping, nothing goes out.

What I’ll write about

AI & tech: tools and ideas I’ve actually used this week and found solid — not reposts.

Architecture & teams: the pitfalls from leading a team and building systems, and the lessons that stuck.

Life fragments: a photo, a walk, a bit of how the moment felt.

About me

I’m SIDO — a software engineer from Shanghai, working to become a product engineer for the AI era. I’ve written code for over a decade; more than chasing trends, I’d rather quietly build things worth building.

This weekly is where I keep track of what I find along the way.

Time waits for no one, the future is here.
